Larry Lelli is one of the top-call freelance drummers in NYC, and a veteran Broadway drummer & conductor of over 40 Broadway shows, currently performing in the Tony Award-winning hit, Come From Away.  His extensive Broadway credits include: The Producers(12 Tony Awards); Assassins(5 Tony Awards); How To Succeed In Business…(with Daniel Radcliffe); and as drummer & actor onstage in the smash-hit Tony Award winning rockabilly show, Million Dollar Quartet.  Often called a "musical chameleon", his eclectic resume includes recordings & performances with Grammy-winner Melissa Etheridge, Josh Groban, Anne Hathaway, Nick Jonas, Vanessa Williams, Benny Andersson & Bjorn Ulvaeus (ABBA), Heather Headley, Laura Osnes, The Mamas & The Papas, Anika Noni Rose, Lee Rocker (Stray Cats), Audra McDonald, Neil Patrick Harris, Megan Hilty, Alan Cumming, Patti LuPone, Jerry Lee Lewis, Bernadette Peters, Sebastian Bach, Anika Noni Rose, Constantine Maroulis, Doug Stone, Lesley Gore, Larry Gatlin, Darlene Love, Ray Benson (Asleep At The Wheel), Pinkard & Bowden, virtuoso jazz pianist Geoff Keezer, indie rockers SuffraJett, The New York Philharmonic Orchestra, and the nationally acclaimed Cedar Avenue Big Band.  Lelli is a contributing author for Modern Drummer Magazine, holds a degree in Music Performance from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and is a proud member of the American Federation of Musicians & Actors Equity Association. An advocate for music in the schools and promotion of the arts in general, Larry remains an active educator making music festival, school and store appearances on behalf of Yamaha Drums & Percussion. Larry is also a clinician for Yamaha Drums and Sabian Cymbals, and is an active educator and enjoys giving private lessons, clinics and masterclasses around the world. He also enjoys writing and is a regular contributing author for Modern Drummer Magazine, among others.  He has also been the subject of several feature articles in Modern Drummer, International Musician, Drum! Magazine, The LaCrosse Tribune and The View.  Larry holds a bachelor's degree in music performance from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. He is a proud member of both the American Federation of Musicians local 802, and Actors Equity Association.
