Larry is a highly respected and long
time educator, and is currently an Artist - Clinician for Yamaha Drums
and Sabian Cymbals giving clinics, adjudicating competitions and making
festival appearances across the country. He is also a former
faculty member of the longest running summer jazz camp in the nation;
The Shell Lake Jazz Camp.
Larry continues his passion for education and is available for private,
one-on-one coaching sessions, as he enjoys passing along his own
experiences to young, up-and-coming players of all ages. Whether
you are a currently working drummer from around the country, a drumming
student living in the New York Metro area, or you are simply coming to
visit NYC on a family or school trip, Larry will meet with you to give
you a special coaching session, based completely on your specific
goals. He will help you obtain a professional, outside
perspective of your playing, determine strong points, identify
potential issues, and educate you on some very important tools that all
drummers must have in order to be a successful musician. Any
drummer or percussionist, who is serious about furthering their career,
can take advantage of these special lessons with Larry. All
aspects
of drumming, music, and career guidance & counseling can be
